CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Learn basic techniques for making your very own pine needle baskset
1-day Beginning or Review Class (Min. 4 students -- Max 6 students) $50 per student
No previous experience necessary.
(*Gather at least 4 friends, family members or co-workers and contact Diane
to set the date.)
1-day Intermediate/Advanced Class $75 per student (Max 4 students)
Enjoy expert instruction from award winning
Pine Needle Artist, Diane Moore.
- · Prerequisite: Student must have completed beginning basket class with me or have previous experience making pine needle baskets.
- Content examples: Different ways to start your basket-- Advanced fancy stitches--Creating handles, lids and footers
- Cost: 1-day class $75 / student
Individual Advanced Classes ( 1 or 2 Days)
One-on-one instruction with Diane Moore, Artist
- Class Prerequisite: Student must have completed:
- beginning and/or the intermediate/advanced group basket class with Diane OR have previous experience making pine needle baskets.
- ·Class Content: Tailored to individual student’s needs and requests.
- Examples: Advanced fancy Stitches—Tenerife Lace---Creating lids, handles and footers--Dying Pine Needles---Understanding construction techniques for large pieces—Making free-form handles from natural materials-- embellishing with beads and copper wire.
- Cost: 1 day individual class - $125 2-day class - $200
